#SpringIntoHome Tour: Centered By Design

it's friday and that means another #springintohome tour with our fab group of ladies! this week it's a 1940s renovated bungalow in chicago. i've only been to chicago once but i LOVED it. such a cool city! claire and her husband have done a ton of work renovating the first floor of their home and are in the process of tackling the second floor now. so without further ado, here's the home of claire staszak of centered by design.

how great is this peacock wallpaper in the entry with that black door?

the wood floor in the kitchen was hiding under three layers of linoleum!! who ever covered that up?! i love the black lowers and brass hardware.

in the living room they added the built ins and recovered vintage chairs and a sofa and combined them with a fresh new rug and coffee table. this electric mix is totally working!

the marled drapes were made by loom decor and came out great. (i had drapes made for my parents' bedroom from loom decor and they are perfect!) the mix of vintage and new continues in this room and is set off by that pretty arched doorway.

the guest room has become their bedroom while they are renovating upstairs. the headboard had me at first glimpse!

claire's office is the epitome of organization. goals people, goals. i love that giant burlap pinboard!

and finally, how adorable is this mudroom?! the white brick and cement look-alike tiles (they're actually ceramic!) are perfect.

head over to claire's blog to see her entire post and even more photos of her cute home! also don't forget to check out the rest of the participants and have a great weekend :)
